Be aware of where and how you carry tension in your body—and you do, we all do. As you become aware of your body, stretch your tensed muscles upon noticing them. You can do this anywhere—in the office, in a meeting, in the checkout line, on the sidelines. Unreleased tension over time takes a harmful toll on our bodies—and does nothing good for our posture. Rather than worrying about what others will think of your gentle stretches, consider that they may follow your example. Our world needs less tension, not more.
